So I probably don't recommend do buy a coulter, on a subcompact, if the stabilizer bars are going to the center, it's just going to interfere with everything and you're going to have a problem. The plow attaches to the tractor by a 3 point hitch that is found on the back of almost all tractors, this gives the tractor the ability to lift and lower the plow, not only in and out of the soil, but also to the proper plowing depth.

Now if because of the tread width of your tractor, which could be many different tractors is different and you end up wanting to offset this plow to get the right setting, for instance as I move this plow over to this side, this plow is going to start angling You don't want to angle your plow, so if you offset your plow with your lift stabilizers then you will change, this pin has three holes here, you will change than pinhole to resquare the plow with the tractor so you're not pulling it at an angle, but this plow, we've built every piece of this in house.

What Are They? By the action of turning over the soil, the current vegetation is forced under ground where it will die and begin the decay process, giving its nutrients to the crops you are planting, and the soil that is full of nutrients is brought closer to the top where the new crops can begin feeding off of it immediately.

Now this plow will work on everything from a subcompact, which this is a BX Kubota, all the way up to about a Class 2 tractor, somewhere around 30 horsepower if it's a full frame tractor like a New Holland TC30 or an L Kubota, something like that.

The hard soil will be difficult for the young plants to break through, and has had much of the nutrients absorbed by other vegetation that is currently growing.

One thing that does help on these types of lifts that have a neutral lift, there's a knob between your legs, and most dealers don't know how to tell you to adjust these types of lifts, but what you want to do is you want to raise your attachment all the way to the top, close that valve completely off, put your lift in the down position. A quadrant or position lift will have a lever that goes from top to bottom and every time you move it just a little bit he lift moves a little bit and you can always return back to the same spot.

The one thing I definitely recommend on a subcompact tractor, because of the type of hydraulic lift that you have, is called a neutral lift, meaning you leave it in neutral when you don't want it to move and if you want it to go down, you go down and you go back to neutral to stop and it has no position.
